Ubisoft unveils Project Q with playtest

Ubisoft has officially announced Project Q, a "Team Battle Arena" game, which is still in progress and rumors should be an Overwatch and Fortnite-like competitor. The game, which was leaked at the beginning of this week, had previously suffered a gameplay leak today and led to this seemingly unplanned announcement.

At the moment we know nothing about the game, but Ubisoft has Project Q-Playtest registrations for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One open, suggesting that it will at least be playable these five platforms. You can log in for these game tests here.

In addition, Ubisoft has revealed the official logo for the project and the first concept picture shows three characters that fight in a large park in the middle of a city. A character swings a shovel while another has an energy drink tin with which he seems to glide. Another sits on a bench. Finally, a fourth figure is to see that overlooks a river.

The leaked gameplay because the game shows an experience that sees fornites strikingly similar, be it with the skills, the user interface, character designs and the environment. After this morning, however, it seems to be instructed to find objects around the world and focus more on character skills. It also seems to have objective play types instead of being a simple Battle Royale.

So, we heard you have heard... ????

Another Ubisoft BATTLE ROYALE? What's Going On!? * PROJECT Q *

Introduction of the code name "Project Q", a team combat arena in which the players can really possess the experience! The game is in the early development phase and we will continue testing, so you can only register for upcoming tests: https://t.co/tmrkwiuzbj pic.twitter.com/hz40okpdum

This is apparently ubisoft's next attempt to develop a live service multiplayer game that will captivate an audience after Hyper Scape and others have not attracted the attention of players in the long term. Project Q has the chance to succeed where these games have failed, but everything depends on how it plays.
