Valve details the dates of Steam's rebates and events from the first half of 2022

Valve has revealed its calendar of sales for the first half of the year 2022. The start dates of certain events are also indicated.

For example, the next fest, the event showing hundreds of games demos that are going to be launched so that they can be proven for limited time, will be held between February 21 and 28, and will have a second and already classic edition From mid-year, to be held between June 23 and July 7, at the same time as the great summer rebates.

In addition to announcing the sales, Valve has also made certain changes to the way in which developers can set periods of rebates of their games:

  • You can make a launch discount, but once you finish, you can not make more offers for 28 days
  • You can not lower your product in the 28 days after a price rise
  • You can not read up to 28 days after your last discount, with the exception of Steam's own events
  • You can not change the price of an offer when it is already valid
  • You can not discount a game more than 90% or less than 10%
  • Personalized discounts can not last more than two weeks or less than one day

The current Steam rebates, the Lunar New Year, will last until tomorrow.
